As a boy and a young man, God created you perfectly. Unique and beautiful. There is no one else like you on this whole earth. The beauty you have inside, the eagerness to experience life and to live an adventure, the kindness, the love and the compassion…that is all what is you and what makes you beautiful.
But as we grow older, this beautiful perfect “you” are slowly filled with things that take the shine away and make the beauty dim until it eventually completely disappear.
Let me explain it in this way…if you have a bottle of pure clean water and you add more pure clean water, then the whole bottle will stay clean and pure. But if you take this bottle and add some dirty water, the whole bottle will become dirty and it is a VERY difficult process to get the water clean again.
This is what happens to many boys who are these beautiful perfect people. They choose to mix with the wrong friends, listen to music that breaks the soul down, watch films and television programs that adds dirty water.
After a while the heart is going to be dirty. You CANNOT prevent it, no one can. What you allow to enter your ears and eyes day after day WILL shape you and make you. You have no control over it. It is critical that you fight with everything you have to keep your water in your bottle pure and clean.
Choose VERY carefully the music you listen to, the movies/tv you watch, the friends you mingle with, the books you read and the thoughts you entertain in your head. Something will either build you up or break you down…
Those are the things that will shape you and make you GREAT or NOT!
If you choose wisely, you will stay pure and clean and a beautiful, kind and compassionate person, just the way God created you. But if you choose to follow the call of the world and allowing all these dirty things to fill you, that beauty will disappear.
You have full control over it. I want to say it again – YOU HAVE FULL CONTROL OVER IT! Especially when you are a young boy. While you are still clean, pure and beautiful, make this choice and fight for it with everything you have.
There are few really good men out there in the world today because many have decided to trade that beauty that God gave them for the dirty water of the world. Those men that rise above everyone else and become GREAT men and fathers, are those that keep fighting to keep this beauty at all cost and follow God.
Wish you all a BLESSED day boys!
